Why Run/Walk:

The YALLS Group of SNS is partnering with The FUN Club and The Exceptional Foundation of Atlanta to highlight our programs available to adults with varying disabilities. Our race is a Peachtree qualifier course. There will also be a resource/vendor fair for families and/or caregivers to learn about programs and resources available to help. YALL come out to join us for some FUN and make some EXCEPTIONAL friends!

Our Why

There are more than 150,000 individuals reported in Georgia with a Developmental Disability. Did you know that once individuals, no matter what the severity of their disabilities may be are "aged" out of all state funded programs at the age of 22? The Special Needs Schools of Gwinnett, YALLS program allows individuals to grow at their own rate, in a safe and secure environment from pre-K all the way into adulthood.

SNS is a very unique and rare organization as we offer stepping stones for these fragile individuals through all phases of their lives. The YALLS Group is an adult Day Program in which we focus on community involvement, physical activity, and living skills. We offer a 12 month calendar and we are a medicaid approved vendor. With your help we can reach more individuals and improve our programs for these very special adults.
